Epoxy Membrane Switch
An Epoxy Membrane Switch is a type of membrane switch that utilizes an epoxy coating on the graphic overlay to create a tactile and durable user interface, it’ a popular alternative to embossing the overlay material. Epoxy keys giving the membrane switch a clean, transparent and aesthetic look, and it can be raised off of the surface 1-1.5mm height.

Water& Dust resistant: Epoxy provides a protective layer, increasing the switch's resistance to water and dust, suitable for outdoor or industrial environments
Tactility: The hardness of epoxy coating can be customized. Harder epoxies typically provide a more distinct tactile "click" and can withstand more pressure, while softer epoxies offer a more cushioned feel.
Long lifetime: Lifecycle is typically 0.5 to 1 million actuations, depending on the material selection and production process
Ultra-thin design: The total thickness can be designed to be 0.5-2mm, which is suitable for devices with limited space.
Customizable: Highly customizable in terms of graphics, colors, shapes (embossed/flat) backlighting (LEDs), and tactile feedback.
