Transparent Conductive Traces (for Touch Applications)
Transparent conductive traces, also known as capacitive touch switches, typically come in two main types:
ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) etched conductive film: This type offers higher light transmittance but comes at a higher cost.
Printed transparent conductive ink (PEDOT): This option is more cost-effective and has slightly lower light transmittance. However, it meets the needs of most applications. Printed transparent conductive ink (PEDOT) is now commonly used for touch-sensitive membrane switches in both the home appliances and automotive electronics industries.
