PET material properties

PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a high-performance engineering plastic with the following characteristics:

High transparency Its light transmittance can reach over 90%, which is close to that of glass.
High strength It is resistant to tensile stress and impact, and is superior to ordinary PVC or PC.
Chemical resistance It is resistant to corrosion from grease, alcohol, and detergents.
Temperature resistance Stable at -40℃ to 120℃ (some modified PET can reach 150℃).
Environmental protection Recyclable and RoHS/REACH compliant.
