Resistive Touch Panel

Working principle

  • Pressure Sensing It consists of two conductive thin films (usually ITO indium tin oxide) separated by tiny gaps. When a finger or stylus presses down, the two films come into contact, and the touch location is determined by detecting changes in voltage.

  • Physical pressure required It requires a certain amount of pressure to trigger.
    Advantage :

  • Low cost, suitable for low-cost equipment.

  • It can be operated with any object (finger, glove, stylus).

  • Resistant to surface stains and water damage.

  • Low power consumption It consumes very little power during standby, making it suitable for battery-powered scenarios.

    Application scenarios

  • Home lighting Controls lighting fixtures and ambient light strips, supporting color and brightness adjustment.

  • Smart Home It can be linked with intelligent systems (such as Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/Zigbee) to achieve remote control.

  • Commercial Display Interactive switches used for shop windows and billboards.

  • Industrial equipment It replaces mechanical buttons, improving the durability and aesthetics of the control panel.
